368 Units – XCMG Sets New Record Exporting to Ethiopia

XCMG export has set yet one more new record recently when the deal of Ethiopian government purchasing 368 XCMG machines, of the total value of RMB 300 million, proceeded as agreed, making it the largest XCMG export to the African country so far.

The first batch of some 150 units of cranes, loaders, bulldozers and excavators were loaded onto the vessel headed for Ethiopia at the Tianjin port in mid-May and the rest of 200 strong units are to be dispatched in two batches, the delivery being expected to complete by the end of July.

Located in East Africa with a large territory and blessed with bountiful water and mineral resources, Ethiopia is known both as the “Roof of Africa” and “Water Tower of Northeast Africa”.
