650th TB 270 sold to Kiloutou. Intermat in France a huge success

The overall results from this year’s Intermat trade show in Paris, France (April 20th – April 25th) were very encouraging. We talked with many customers from near and far and were able to establish new contacts from all over the world.

Our world premieres were successfully launched at this prominent annual event. The international visitors were fascinated by the performance capabilities and versatility of our new TB 270+, HEIGHT performance STEIGER ® T 480, and off-road version T 540.

We have sold over 650 STEIGER ® TB 270 models in just 5 years.

Our 650th TB 270(+) model was sold to Kiloutou – one the largest equipment rental companies in France. At Intermat, Kiloutou received special recognition for this monumental milestone.

Trade show highlights:

The newest model on a 3.5 t chassis – the one and only STEIGER ® TB 270+.

The “+” on the TB 270+ symbolizes a completely new development in maximum performance capabilities on a 3.5 t chassis. The development was essential due to the new EURO 6 emission standards which will become mandatory in many European countries in the autumn of 2015. Because EURO 6 vehicles are much heavier than previous EURO 5 chassis, the overall weight of STEIGER ® work platforms had to be reduced. 

Of course, this new model has the same functions and conceptual design as its successful predecessor. 

HEIGHT performance STEIGER ® T 480

Featuring a 48 m working height and 32 m horizontal outreach, our new HEIGHT performance model provides the best performance capabilities on a 2 axle (tandem) truck chassis.  The T 480 has the same upper boom advantages as all of the other models in the popular the HEIGHT performance series and is market leader in reach capacity when working high off the ground.

HEIGHT performance STEIGER ® T 540 with genuine off-road capabilities

Mounted on an all-wheel drive, 4-axle, 32 t VOLVO truck for the first time ever, the HEIGHT performance STEIGER ® T 540 is now able to tackle the toughest assignments at construction sites and in uneven terrain. Following the trade show, all three world premieres remained in France. The brand new TB 270+ now complements Kiloutou’s rental fleet, the T 480 is with SMMI, and Joly Location has taken delivery of the off-road T 540.
