PB increases its capacities – twice.
On the one hand, the working platform production has started in the new PB hall at the beginning of February. The growing demand had required a capacity increase. The production hall has installed 2 bridge cranes and has got a 10 m eaves height. This supports us to meet the future requirements of the market in the best possible way.
Due to the transfer of the production into the new manufacturing plant, new possibilities and space resources are being created for the PB service in the former production hall. Now, maintenance and repair works can be done faster and more efficient.
But it is not just “something new” on the PB factory premises, but also in the staff.
Thomas Ziegler is the new face at PB. Since April 2017 he held the function of the PB plant manager. He is now responsible for the entire technical sector including the PB service.
Main focus of his work is to structure and optimise the whole production process of the working platforms of PB – from the material procurement to the final inspection. A speed-up and automation of various workflows will be key areas.
At our PB Service we’ll also make some adjustments to ensure the customer an ideal service support at maximum satisfaction.
Before joining PB, Thomas Ziegler worked for 23 years at the Albert Ziegler Company, one of the leading fire-fighting vehicle manufacturers worldwide. During this time he held a number of responsible functions and gained a wealth of experience and know-how in the fields of planning, purchasing, logistics, project management, production planning and quality management.
