Acting fast in Russia

Van der Vlist have recently expanded their fleet of trucks and trailers in Russia, and wasted no time in putting their new trucks to use.

They recently moved a 23,4 tonne heater case at short notice from St Petersburg down to a production line in Torzhok. The 500 km journey required both private and police escorts at 11,3m long, 4,57m wide and 4,46m high.

Arranging transports of this magnitude are not simple, particularly at short notice, and excellent co-operation with both the authorities and the client meant that the heater could move in the requested timeframe.
