Aldercote awarded EON vehicle replacement programme

Aldercote are pleased to be solely supplying EON fleet vehicles with access platforms from the VZ and PAranges.

Offering a competitive price and industry-leading support, Aldercote will be fitting seven VZ 143 platforms, part of the VZ 140 range, on to the Iveco 50c vehicles used by the energy company.

As part of the vehicle replacement programme, there will also be two PA85 platforms from the PA range replacing the current platforms on EON fleet vehicles.

EON Fleet Manager, Jackie Brown, said “EON has been impressed with Aldercote’s continued investment in the latest technologies and product advancement. They have continually improved their platforms to include lighter materials, space saving internals, improved reach and stability plus we are keen to see the benefits of the Walk in GRP Cage and Operator Interface Screen for ease of operating and problem solving diagnostics which will hopefully reduce call out costs for operator error and reduces down time of the platform”.

The HAWK VZ is a sophisticated platform, with a highly optimised structural design and controls, offering an unrivalled combination of low-weight and a wide reach.

Each HAWK platform can be fitted with a mobile modem, which records sensor outputs to identify and resolve any issues, making fitted vehicles operate more reliably.
