In 2026, ALLU marks 40 years of Finnish engineering built around one simple idea: make material processing smarter, more mobile, and more profitable on the jobsite. Founded in late 1985, ALLU has grown from a family-owned engineering company into a global attachment specialist working through 100+ dealers in 30+ countries, serving customers across construction, demolition, recycling, mining, and environmental applications.

A defining moment came in 1991, when ALLU introduced the world’s first excavator-attached screening and crushing bucket, bringing proven screening technology from large stationary plants into a compact attachment that could screen, crush, mix, and load using the carrier machine already on site. That breakthrough helped shape the entire “attachment-based processing” category and set the direction for decades of product development.

“Forty years later, the mission hasn’t changed,” said Peter Grönholm, CEO of ALLU. “Our customers want practical solutions that save time and money - less trucking, fewer machines, and better reuse of material right where the work happens. We’re proud of the role ALLU has played in building this industry, and even more excited about where it goes next.”

CONEXPO-CON/AGG: proven performance + a clear signal of what’s next

At CONEXPO-CON/AGG, ALLU will showcase a range of attachment-based processing solutions designed for demanding applications from handling excavator and loader materials to supporting recycling and asphalt workflows through dealer-supported service and training.

A key highlight at the show will be the ALLU Asphalt Bucket, introduced in 2025 to help contractors screen and process cold-milled and reclaimed asphalt (RAP) efficiently, supporting material reuse and tighter control of on-site asphalt workflows.

And for visitors who like to be the first to see what’s coming: ALLU will also preview a completely new product innovation aimed at the demolition industry.

Built one step ahead with partners at the center

ALLU’s growth has always been tied to close collaboration with customers and dealers worldwide, turning jobsite feedback into practical engineering. From early breakthroughs in attachment-based screening and crushing to continued product evolution across multiple series and applications, the company’s focus remains on helping contractors and dealers deliver better results with fewer steps.

“Every milestone is really a partnership story,” added Grönholm. “Our dealers and customers have shaped the ALLU journey from day one, and CONEXPO is the perfect place to celebrate 40 years while also showing the next chapter.”
