Over the years ALMAG has specialized more and more his work, becoming today the second Italian and third European producer of brass bars. This success was possible by the continuous investments in technological innovation and improvement of production processes.

ALMAG, which has already three wheel loaders PL 75, has recently decided to renew its trust to Palazzani and exchange one of them with a new generation PL 185.

The configuration of PL 185 was decided and customized to speed up and improve the specific work activities in the foundry.

Designed specifically for their needs, the machine was provided with a hydraulic pusher; composed by a slash angled with a guide on the bottom that allows the easy sliding of the material in the feed channel of the oven, the pusher is needed primarily for a fast and correct loading of melting furnaces.

For the workers safety, the loader has been equipped with some simple and effective devices: shock sensors are installed to identify obstacles and to detect the presence of persons in the nearby; a lighthouse is placed on the cabin to illuminate the back side of the bucket with a bright red beam of 8.9 meters deep and to alert the operator of the presence of moving cars in the area; a km counter to hold a maximum speed of 6 km / h during transfers in pedestrian zones inside and outside the industry.

The machine was equipped with solid tires, to work constantly in contact with ferrous materials without risks ofpunctures and fast wear, a special bucket to handle the materials, the automated greasing, a sweeper for the cleaning of pedestrian and trucks transit areas, and finally with a snow blade to keep all outdoor areas cleaned in winter.
