Save on operating costs – thanks to a lightweight design and large volume: Newly developed vehicle concept for transporting 30 m³ of slurry
At the Agritechnica trade fair, ANNABURGER Nutzfahrzeug GmbH is presenting a new generation of slurry vehicles. Farmers, farm contractors and other professional users will benefit from their lightweight design and large volume, with operating cost savings on fuel and manpower because more slurry can be transported in a shorter period of time.
Impressive new generation with less weight
The ANNABURGER EcoTanker LS 38.28 is a new generation of semi-trailers with a weight-optimised chassis design. The design engineers at ANNABURGER developed the new product line in partnership with Berger Fahrzeugtechnik. The design highlight of the vehicles is the special combination of high quality steel with their geometric design, resulting in vehicles with reduced dead weight.
The weight of the vehicles has been reduced significantly (over 20 %) compared to the HighwayTanker, the current semi-trailer for slurry transport in the product range. Alongside the chassis, other weight-optimised assemblies have been installed in the vehicles - such as the latest generation of pumps from Vogelsang containing aluminium components.
Particularly ideal for long distances
Nowadays, slurry and digestates are transported over long distances. This is why efficiency is all the more important - thanks to its low dead weight, large tank volume and road tyres, the EcoTanker is the ideal transportation vehicle in combined transport operations. For users, this is particularly advantageous over longer distances.
Versatile use, tailored to every requirement
ANNABURGER GRP-tank semi-trailers transport slurry, fermentation liquids, domestic and industrial waste water as well as liquid manure. They are very versatile and therefore attractive to a wide range of users from the agricultural sector, municipal authorities and industry.
ANNABURGER is known for its flexible and customised solutions – and the new EcoTanker is no exception: A very wide range of customised connection and docking systems can be installed at customer request to ensure optimal functionality.
Lightweight design with large volume – A look at the details
Chassis - The minimised dead weight of the chassis (BERGERecotrail®) maximises the payload. Users can transport more and need fewer trips to do so, thus reducing operating costs.
A wide range of equipment options such as lift axles and/or steered trailing axles can reduce the wear on the wheels and increase ride comfort.
The two longitudinal beams made of S700 fine-grain steel contain cut-outs in the form of Reuleaux triangles in the web plates. The functional interaction between the high quality steel and geometric design are responsible for the low dead weight of EcoTanker: This specialist slurry transporter only weighs 5.3 t.
Tank – The unpressurised GRP tank has been weight-optimised even further and the internal docking system is based on a GRP lightweight design. The ANNABURGER EcoTanker can transport up to 30 m³ of slurry in full compliance with legal requirements.
