Announcement of Frame Agreement for Supply of Goods between XCMG and HOLCIM

A week before bauma China 2014,  Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group (XCMG) signed a Frame Agreement for Supply of Goods with Holcim Technology Ltd (HOLCIM). 

The Agreement covers supply cooperation between the two parties in the global scope, aiming at enhancing the cooperation on the basis of mutual benefit and maintaining the advantages of both parties in the industry.

Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Import & Export Co., Ltd., established in 1997 and responsible for export of XCMG products, is a fully owned subsidiary of Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co. Ltd. XCMG has established a marketing network covering the whole nation, and over 280 XCMG overseas agents have been set up to provide global users with all-round marketing service. XCMG products have been exported to 169 countries and regions around the world. Its export exceeded USD 1.36 billion in 2012, and it has kept its first place in terms of exports in the industry for 24 consecutive years. At present, the market share of 9 categories of products and 3 categories of key basic spare parts ranks 1st in China; export quantity and gross of 5 categories of products rank 1st in domestic industry consecutively; sales volume of truck crane and large-tonnage roller ranks 1st globally.

HOLCIM, established in 1912 and the headquarter in Switzerland, is one of the world’s leading suppliers of cement and aggregates (crushed stone, sand and gravel) as well as downstream activities such as ready-mix concrete and asphalt including services. HOLCIM possesses over 110 cement plants, 245 aggregate plants and 639 concrete mixing plants in more than 70 countries, with over 60,000 employees. It has been in the front row among cement producers for over a decade.

The agreement between XCMG (representative of Chinese construction machinery manufacturers) and HOLCIM (representative of world’s cement producers) will have a multiplied effect and will provide great momentum for the development of both parties.
