AXIS.2 fertiliser spreaders – the next generation

RAUCH has significantly enhanced the successful AXIS fertiliser spreader series. With a new, elegant design, increased fertiliser working load, new models equipped with the innovative EMC automatic metering system and the VariSpread section control, the red spreaders AXIS 20.2, 30.2 and 50.2 set new standards regarding cost effectiveness, spreading precision and operating comfort.

More strength and power

RAUCH has made AXIS even more robust and strong. The maximum fertiliser working load was increased by 200 kg for all three AXIS model series. AXIS 20.2 now surprises with a payload of 2,300 kg and a tank capacity of 1,000 litres. The two larger models AXIS 30.2 and AXIS 50.2 convince with a maximum payload of 3,200 kg or 4,200 kg respectively and a tank capacity which grew by 200 litres compared to previous models to 1,400 or 2,200 litres respectively.

New AXIS EMC models

With the new, compact, mechanical AXIS M 20.2 EMC(+W) models with a payload of 2,300 kg RAUCH now offers the complete AXIS series with the innovative Electronic Massflow Control - in short: EMC automatic metering system.

With the hydraulic AXIS H EMC(+W) models, RAUCH relies on a newly developed EMC automatic metering unit. The new EMC-2 measures and controls the actual fertiliser flow fully automatically using contact-free hightech sensors. The tried and tested technology is usually used for the drives of E bikes or Segway personal transporters. Using so-called magnetostriction, the change of the magnetic field at every drive shaft of the spreading discs is measured separately and converted into corresponding torque signals. Using EMC-2, the fully automatic fertiliser metering has become even more user friendly, precise and safe.

In contrast to the conventional weighing spreaders, EMC checks and regulates the fertiliser quantity separately on the left and right side. EMC is based on the proportional, physical connection between the drive torque of the spreading disc and the fertiliser flow at the metering slide. The EMC increases the dosing precision and spreading efficiency on both sides compared to the conventional weighing technology using weigh cells.

Spreading according to the fertiliser ordinance and environmental standards

As a matter of course, the new AXIS.2 models comply with any requirements of the fertiliser ordinance. All requirements for normal or late fertilising and for boundary spreading or full border spreading are met.

VariSpread - Adjustable section control

The AXIS.2 generation now offers the precise VariSpread V4 or V8 adjustable section control for all models equipped with the QUANTRON-A electronic metering system. Depending on the model, four or eight sections can be enabled comfortably one after the other by pressing a button.

The innovative AXIS ISOBUS spreaders are equipped with the intelligent VariSpread V8 plus system at the factory. The sections cannot only be switched from the outside in or vice versa. With VariSpread V8plus, the outer sections are controlled separately. This means that fertiliser can be spread even in problematic areas of v-shaped headlands which could only be reached partially up to now.

CCI-100 ISOBUS terminal with integrated fertiliser chart

Using the AEF-certified RAUCH CCI-100 ISOBUS universal terminal, all AXIS operating parameters are adjusted in a quick and elegant manner. Thanks to the Fertilizer app fertiliser chart which is activated as a standard, only the fertiliser and the working width must be selected on the CCI-100 terminal. All other setting values are then transferred automatically to the settings menu. The revolutionary DISCAN system checks fully automatically if the appropriate spreading disc is used and activates an alarm if not.

Maximum safety with LED lighting and warning signs

Safety and design were particularly important to the RAUCH engineers. With attractive, contemporary LED lighting and highly reflecting warning signs, AXIS ensures optimum long-distance view even in adverse weather conditions.
