BAUER trench cutter BC 35

BAUER Maschinen GmbH has almost 30 years' experience in diaphragm wall technology, and the company is continually meeting the demands of construction site practice with new developments. Bauer trench cutters are in use on every continent. At Bauma 2013 the latest version of the BC series, the BC 35, is being presented. Mounted on a BAUER MC 96 cable excavator with a rotation mechanism, it is capable of 58 metres cutting depth without rotation and 48 metres with rotation.

Designed to meet specific on-site requirements, the BC 35 trench cutter is the successor to the tried and proven BC 32 model, though featuring a cutter frame extended to 12 metres. On this new model the steering flaps on the cutter frame are farther apart and larger. This provides better and more precise steering, even in soft soil.
