At EuroBLECH, Bosch Rexroth is presenting its expanded portfolio of solutions for hydraulic press brakes. With the new double power unit, a more powerful single power unit from the ABKAG series, and the innovative, function-integrated cylinder manifold, the company is optimizing performance, efficiency, and precision in these applications. These solutions, precisely tailored to the requirements of modern press brakes, enable more compact machine designs, maximum bending accuracy, and improved energy efficiency.

New ABKAG double power unit: compact power for maximum productivity

The new ABKAG double power unit combines two individual power units into one compact system. Equipped with only one tank and a central manifold, it significantly reduces the need for valves, pipes, and accessories.

The power unit, delivered ready for connection, significantly reduces installation effort for the machine manufacturer. Thanks to its compact design, the double power unit can also be installed in press brakes with limited installation space.

Thanks to the intelligent power-on-demand approach, implemented using high-performance MS2N servomotors and proven A10FZG axial piston pumps, energy is provided only as needed. This reduces energy consumption and contributes to lower operating costs.

Extended single power unit ABKAG: more power and more flexibility

The proven ABKAG single power unit has been expanded to include a higher performance class and is now also available with manifolds in size 16. This universally applicable solution can be flexibly positioned on either the left or right side of the machine, reducing the number of variants and simplifying storage management and spare parts handling for machine manufacturers (OEMs). Here, too, the power-on-demand approach increases energy efficiency.

Functionally integrated cylinder manifold: another step towards greater efficiency

In addition to its pump-controlled solutions, Bosch Rexroth is also optimizing its portfolio of valve-controlled press brakes. The new function-integrated cylinder manifold is mounted directly on the cylinder. This solution reduces material usage, minimizes pressure losses in the system, and, thanks to its proximity to the actuator, enables even better control of the bending process.

With these innovations, Bosch Rexroth offers machine manufacturers and end users real added value: They benefit from increased performance and reduced operating costs.
