BvL: Keep an eye on the slide valve opening via the LED display

• BvL introduces an LED display to monitor slide valve openings on its V-MIX Plus feed mixer wagons.

• The light strip shows the degree of slide opening via an opening sensor and is mounted on the front.

• Features include automatic brightness adjustment and CAN bus interface for system integration.

• The display can be retrofitted and is especially helpful for slides not visible to the operator, such as those at the rear or with straw blowers.

Bernard van Lengerich Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG (BvL) has made it easier to control the discharge openings on its V-MIX Plus feed mixer  wagons with a new LED display.

The principle: the light strip is mounted on the front of the feed mixer. Once activated, it displays the extent to which the associated discharge or slide is open along a scale. This is equipped with a corresponding opening sensor.

Further features of the LED slide display:

• automatic brightness control, meaning it adapts to different lighting conditions;

• CAN bus interface for seamless integration into existing systems;

• Retrofitting is possible.

The LED display is particularly useful for slides outside the field of vision, for example at the rear or on mixer wagons with straw blowers.
