Change in the management of the Bott Group

As of January 2018 Mr. Jan Willem Jongert joined the Bott Group as Managing Director and Spokesman of the Management Board. He follows Dr. Reinhard Wollermann-Windgasse, who retires at the end of March, but remains connected as a shareholder. Born in the Netherlands in 1964, Jan Willem Jongert studied Mechanical Engineering and International Marketing Management. More recently he was employed as CEO of Schwarzmüller, a leading manufacturer of Commercial Vehicles. Here, he re-organised the sales model and made a name for himself helping to turn the Company’s fortunes around. Prior to that, Jongert held various positions for the Jungheinrich Group, a leading manufacturer of material handling equipment, logistics systems and services.

During his activities in various management positions in the international environment, he gained experience in the areas of mechanical engineering, vehicle construction and intralogistics. Thus, he brings with him ideal experience for success in this strategic role. Dr. Reinhard Wollermann-Windgasse took over the management of the Bott Group in 2005. He succeeded in more than doubling sales to around 124 million euros in the 2017 financial year. He has developed bott into a modern and successful company, strongly positioned in Europe and expanding worldwide.
