Citymaster 1600 has been awarded the AGR quality seal

The Citymaster 1600 has been awarded the AGR quality seal for its particularly user-friendly, ergonomic and back-friendly overall machine concept. This quality seal awarded by the German association “Aktion Gesunder Rücken e.V. (AGR”) is of great relevance as it has been rated “Very good” by the German Ökotest magazine and “Highly recommendable” by the rating portal “Label online”, which is supported by the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection. Having been awarded the independent AGR quality seal has raised the Citymaster 1600 into a unique position, which, in its entirety, no other machine in this class has yet been able to achieve.

The Citymaster 1600 impressed the jury with a convincing number of more than 40 individual safety-, comfort- and ergonomic features. The focus of the assessment was put on the cabin and the ergonomic concept of the driver’s workplace, the full-suspension chassis and the one-person no-tools-needed quick-change system as well as on the vehicle’s active and passive safety features.

Everyone at Hako is very proud to have won this award, all the more since this implement carrier unifies 55 years of product experience in the field of compact tractors combined with 20 years of product experience in the field of city cleaning. Hako presented this 3.5 t all-in-one multifunctional implement carrier & professional sweeper to an expert audience for the first time in autumn 2014. The machine has been developed in close cooperation with key customers, which has contributed a great deal in implementing some important key factors for future users.

In addition to being extremely economic, safe and reliable, the Citymaster 1600 provides a kind of operating and driving comfort that is second to none in this class of sweeper and implement carrier. This was achieved by implementing a wide range of innovative technical features comprising a sophisticated chassis with coil springs and shock absorbers, a suspended seat specially adapted to the chassis, air conditioning and many more. Thanks to its directional stable articulated steering and superior manoeuvrability, the Citymaster 1600 is just as safe and comfortable to drive in confined urban areas as in the country.

Changing the attachments is also very easy. The implement carrier is equipped with an intelligent quick-change system designed for all-year-round employment. Moreover, the vehicle is equipped with all the hydraulic, electronic and mechanical fixtures required for the various different applications including the sweeping function. One person alone can change the attachment devices at the quick-change attachment interfaces within minutes and without the need for tools, so that the machine can be used to carry out different tasks at short notice – from sweeping to snow clearing.

The one-button operating system of the sweeper as well as the multifunctional control system featuring only a few operating elements offer a comfortable workplace for the driver. The operating elements are clearly arranged. A multifunctional display with easy intuitive menu navigation informs the operator of the machine’s operating states and parameters. The functions are controlled via a one-hand operating panel integrated in the armrest. This innovative operating concept requires very little training, provides easy working and prevents operating errors.

The spaciously glazed cabin and additional assistance systems provide a near all-round view for effective working and high levels of safety.

In addition to its superior performance capabilities, the Citymaster 1600 also scores right down the line in terms of eco-friendliness. The low-emission, low-noise vehicle is equipped with a powerful drive and still fully complies with the strict German approval regulations. The combined freshwater/ circulation water system has been EUnited-PM 10 tested and certified for its superior dust-binding qualities. Employing the Citymaster 1600 therefore protects both the people and the environment.
