While the HEM 5400 Z is designed as the successor to the tried-and-tested HEM 542 Z, the HEM 5600 Z closes a gap that previously existed between compact and mid-range chippers - especially for more powerful tractors up to 420 hp. Both machines are based on a low, service-friendly design that is ideal for municipal applications, contractors and in-house mechanisation.

At the centre of the technical development is a completely redesigned infeed geometry, which is equipped with a bottom roller as standard for the first time.
