The Terex  Aerial Work Platforms, Construction, Cranes, and Materials Processing business segments   will showcase new equipment, innovative safety features and unique service solutions. All of these offerings are designed to keep our customers’ equipment up and running efficiently while lowering the cost of ownership to enhance their bottom line.

Terex also invites our friends from the press to stop by our stand. In addition to new equipment and customer support hubs, we’ve included a dedicated Press Center on our booth with meeting rooms where you will be able to schedule meetings with Terex team members, conduct interviews, or just take a break and access our microsite and press materials via wi-fi while enjoying a beverage and snack.

Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP):

Genie® branded products, manufactured by Terex AWP, will be "taking you higher" at CONEXPO 2014 by enabling customers to reach new heights. The equipment displays will include innovative products such as the Genie SX-180 telescopic boom, the Genie GS™-4069 bi-energy hybrid scissor lift, the Genie GTH™-1544 telehandler and more.

Now in production, the Genie SX-180 boom is an engineering spectacle. It has a platform height of 180 feet and can be driven at full height. The stowed length shrinks it down to a mere 47 feet and the retracted width to 98 inches making it transportable without special over-width permits. The lift capacity is an impressive 750 lbs. The boom is suited for applications in the oil and gas industries, commercial construction, industrial construction and maintenance, wind farm applications, power stations and utilities and large metropolitan cities that require work at height.

The new Genie GS-4069 bi-energy hybrid scissor lift will also be on display. As part of the new Genie BE69 hybrid scissor lift series, it features two selectable operating modes to meet the needs of both outdoor jobsites with no onsite power, and indoor jobsites with noise and emission sensitive environments. Also on display will be three rough terrain Genie telehandlers, among other products.

Terex Construction:

Visitors to the CONEXPO 2014 exhibition will be able to experience for themselves how Terex Construction machinery offers productivity, reliability and efficiency across the range.  From site dumpers to material handlers, mobile excavators to backhoe loaders, compact track loaders to wheel loaders, we offer a broad range of hard-working equipment that delivers value directly to our customers’ businesses.

The Terex stand will showcase machines from across the construction range including the Tier 4i/ Stage IIIB TSR60 skid steer featuring  a rated operating capacity of  1,500 lbs (680 kgs)  to the largest machine in the compact wheel loader range, the TL120.  Visitors to the stand will learn how the TL120 loader, with its latest Tier 4i/Stage IIIB compliant engine, offers more power and torque at the operator’s fingertips with the new Terex Smart Control system for precise, comfortable and productive work.

Each machine has been designed and developed based on detailed customer input and visitors will experience this first hand and meet the faces behind the products

Terex Cranes:

One Terex Crane that will have people talking about is the Superlift 3800 crawler crane which will be exhibited in an even larger configuration than at Bauma. According to Terex, the new Superlift has been designed to redefine performance in the 650 t capacity class and is a more than worthy successor to the highly regarded CC 2800-1.

Requiring up to 30 per cent less counterweight for long boom erection and complete with new-style cabin and Terex® fall protection system, the Superlift has a maximum lift capacity of 650 t at 12 m and a maximum hook height of 190 m. Maximum load moment is 8426 mt. All the crane’s components weigh less than 40 t and are below 3 m in width and height to facilitate ease of transportation.

Comments Rüdiger Zollondz, director Product Marketing, Terex Cranes: “With its focus on innovation, capacity and productivity - and especially in the configuration we have planned - the Superlift 3800 promises to be one of the highlights of CONEXPO 2014. It continues the well established Terex tradition of helping customers to deliver the results that matter - jobs that are on time, on budget and to specification.”

Visitors wanting to see something brand new at CONEXPO will not be disappointed. No less than two Terex cranes will be making their debut: a new, mid-size all terrain crane which specifically addresses the needs of the North American market; a new and a class-defining truck mounted crane. All cranes are designed with customer needs in mind and will help them to deliver success.
