The Supervisory Board of Schmitz Cargobull AG has extended the board member contracts for Andreas Busacker (Finances) and Andreas Klein (Operations) ahead of time by a further five years. Both have served on the company’s Management Board since 2015. “Andreas Busacker and Andreas Klein have both proven themselves to be absolute professionals in their respective fields,” says Prof. Jürgen Kluge, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Schmitz Cargobull AG. “That is why we are pleased to extend both of the contracts ahead of time and safeguard the long-term continuity within the management.”
The Supervisory Board confirmed the extension of the board member contracts at its meeting on 20 June 2017. “The Management Board chaired by Andreas Schmitz has handled the first complete business year after the generation change successfully,” emphasises the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Prof. Jürgen Kluge. For this reason, it is important to ensure that the management team and the company share a long-term perspective.
