A 34-year-old man from Somerset has been found guilty of conspiracy to handle stolen property and four counts of handling stolen property.
The Polish-national, who was part of an organised criminal gang based in Wiltshire, has now been sentenced by a judge in Swindon to five and a half years in prison.
The case had been referred to Crown Court after a local resident in Westbury spotted a transporter which turned out to contain a stolen John Deere 6230 tractor and JCB excavator.
A near-by storage unit was later found to be concealing £365,000-worth of vehicles and plant machinery which had been stolen from the Hampshire area.
