CTE at Bauma 2016: news and world premieres

CTE is displaying at Bauma 2016 Exhibition product novelties as world premiere and the renewed corporate identity.

Logo, web site, communication, product literature are the first items featuring the restyling, conceived in harmony with the “Work Becomes Easy” philosophy. The change is there, but took place in continuity with the company history.

As far as product novelties is concerned, as a world premiere there are 2 models on display belonging the new telescopic truck-mounted range CTE B-LIFT. Firstly, the name of the range shows now a change of the model designation (not hundreds but dozens) to mark the changes made to the entire range, and to unify the naming with CTE ZED family, always characterized by models with dozens. The evolution of the range starts from the use of the high performance SSAB Strenx steel to reduce thickness and the weight of the boom maintaining the same high performance.

Furthermore there is the revolution applied to the electrical and hydraulic systems with the introduction of a CAN BUS management system and a new hydraulic management system. The easy user interfaces of these platforms are the same of the truck-mounted articulated range CTE ZED, with fully proportional electro-hydraulic controls, engine speed variable depending on the used maneuvers, smooth maneuvers with acceleration and deceleration ramp, electric PTO. An innovative remote console is housed in a specific compartment on the platform. To simplify the management of the service, it has been studied a diagnostic common to other CTE platforms (ZED, TRACCESS, B-LIFT). CTE’s aim is to unify hydraulic, electrical and electronic components of truck-mounted platforms CTE ZED and CTE B-LIFT to facilitate understanding, use and care, and to offer a unique brand experience to their customers.

Belonging to the new telescopic range, there is the new CTE B-LIFT 17E that reaches 16,6 m of working height, 11,3 m of outreach and 250 kg of maximum capacity. The platform is made of 2 mm SSAB Strenx steel. The “E” is for the ecologic version of the platform, with battery that allows to work also in indoor spaces: more than 500Ah battery that guarantees 1,5 hours of continuous work and once exhausted, it recharges with PTO or with electric power.

There will be also the new CTE B-LIFT 27, the telescopic truck-mounted platform that reaches 27 m of working height and is the first CTE truck-mounted that reaches this height on a B driving license truck. The platform is made of 1,5 mm SSAB Strenx steel, a great innovation. The maximum outreach is 13 m (80 kg capacity) and the maximum capacity 230 kg.

With the new articulated truck-mounted platform CTE ZED 21.2 JHV will be presented the new stabilization system named S3 (Smart Stability System), studied for articulated CTE ZED and telescopic CTE B-LIFT platforms. A system that adapts in real time to the conditions of use, basket load and geometry, automatically, and allows the user of to taking advantage of the full potential of each type of platform, irrespective of the vehicle characteristics on which it is mounted or the geometry of its superstructure.

CTE ZED 21.2 JHV reaches 20,6 m of working height, 9,9 m of outreach and 300 kg of max capacity. Stabilization is H-shape, variable and with S3.

There will be on display also the truck-mounted platform CTE B-LIFT 390 High Range, purchased last October by the CTE German dealer Hematec Arbeitsbühnen GmbH, currently involved in a demo tour in Germany. This platform has 600 kg of capacity at 39 m height, important upgrade that CTE introduced last year on the whole family products CTE B-LIFT High Range (news: http://www.ctelift.com/en/2015/12/10/cte-b-lift-high-range-upgrade-600-kg-of-capacity-in-the-platform-at-the-maximum-working-height/). This model has a main telescopic boom with 3 elements (main boom + 2 extensions), extra long jib with double extension and 180° swiveling angle, secondary jib with 180° swiveling angle, variable stabilization are the main characteristics. It is the smallest of the CTE High Range product family that reaches up to 61 m of working height.
