Demand more from Hitachi at Bauma

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) will be among the leading manufacturers at Bauma 2016 with more than 40 machines on show from 11 to 17 April. The company will showcase a wide range of products and services on stand number FM515 from the new compact wheel loaders to the latest quarrying and mining machines.

The 5,600m2 display will be modelled on HCME’s latest “No compromise” marketing campaign. This emphasises how Hitachi owners can “demand more” from the new Zaxis-6 excavators and ZW-6 wheel loaders, some of which will be unveiled to the general public for the first time in Munich.

Top of the bill will be a broad selection of the new generation of Zaxis-6 excavators, which are renowned for their reliability to achieve optimum levels of availability and performance. They have been designed to operate with the utmost efficiency and deliver a profitable return on investment. Joining the medium ZX250LC-6, ZX300LC-6 and ZX350LC-6 crawler machines will be the latest ZX490LCH-6 large excavator, with other new models to be unveiled at the event.

These will be ably supported by the introduction of several new special application machines, including: the ZX350LC-5 excavator with a 30-metre telescopic arm; and the ZX135US-5 for tunnelling applications.

The new Hitachi compact wheel loader range will be revealed at Bauma. The ZW65-6, ZW75-6 and ZW95-6 have been designed with durability, efficiency and safety in mind.

The Hitachi stand will also feature the ZW220-6 and ZW310-6 wheel loaders, which meet the demands of the European construction industry by offering exceptional levels of performance without compromising on fuel consumption. The new models underline Hitachi’s reputation for high-quality engineering and tough products. The epitome of reliability, they are also extremely versatile for a variety of industry solutions.

Hitachi owners and other visitors will also enjoy browsing through the latest collection available from HCME’s merchandise shop. They will also be able to test their skills on the excavator simulator, which is based on the ZX250LC-6 and an ideal tool for operator training.

“The work for Bauma 2016 started right after the close of the previous event three years ago,” says HCME President and CEO Moriaki Kadoya. “Our team has worked hard to assemble what will prove to be one of the most creative and distinctive stands, not only in HCME’s history, but also at this year’s trade fair. With around 40 Hitachi construction machines on display – ranging from light compaction equipment to a crane – we are convinced that HCME will have something for everyone.”

Bauma is a renowned international trade fair for construction machinery, building material and mining machines, construction vehicles and equipment that is held every three years at Messe München. The last event held in 2013 attracted a total of 3,420 exhibitors (1,346 from Germany and 2,074 from abroad) from 57 countries, who covered 570,000 square metres of exhibition space. Over 530,000 visitors from 200 countries visited the fair, setting a new attendance record in the process.
