DEUBAUKOM at Messe Essen is an Established Meeting Place for Architects: International Architecture Congress Will Take Place During the Construction Trade Fair for the Seventh Time

Stahl-Informations-Zentrum ("Steel Information Centre") and Architektenkammer Nordrhein-Westfalen ("North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Architects") will stage the seventh International Architecture Congress within the framework of the DEUBAUKOM construction trade fair which will take place at Messe Essen on January 15 - 18, 2014. "DEUBAUKOM will be the ideal forum for our specialist congress because more than 20 percent of all the visitors to the fair will be architects," Hartmut Miksch, President of Architektenkammer Nordrhein-Westfalen, and Dr. Reinhard Winkelgrund, Managing Director of Stahl-Informations-Zentrum, are in agreement. International projects and innovative architecture solutions which have been implemented in an exemplary way will be presented at the congress which will take place on January 15, 2014 under the title of "New Construction with Steel - Free Designing in Modern Architecture". The spotlight will be on free shapes in facades and supporting structures in which steel as the construction material determines the designs. In this respect, the planning of these structures is located in the field of conflict with the frequently customary linear designing method characterised by right angles and corresponds to the Zeitgeist of free designing in modern architecture. Architects, engineers, town planners as well as public and private building owners will be target groups of the congress.
