Difficult terrain? No problem for Sarilar with the new Liebherr LRT 1100-2.1 rough-terrain crane

  • LRT 1100-2.1 for use in difficult terrain conditions

  • Quality, high tech equipment and Variobase® were the main factors behind the decision to make the purchase

  • The first LR 1750/2 with an SX boom in Turkey goes to Sarilar

The Sarilar Group took delivery of a rough-terrain crane from the new LRT series at the Liebherr plant in Ehingen in January. The LRT 1100-2.1 ensures that the company is now fully prepared for future jobs and work in challenging terrain. Sarilar will also shortly be receiving the first LR 1750/2 with an SX boom in Turkey.

Sarilar already had a large fleet of Liebherr vehicles and it has now been expanded with the company’s first Liebherr rough-terrain crane. The company already had rough-terrain cranes with lifting capacities between 35 and 70 tonnes. Sarilar has now purchased a 100 tonne RT crane to expand its range of services upwards.

“Liebherr is a brand that we know and trust” said Hanifi Gürbuz, proprietor of the Sarilar Group. Its high tech features, such as Variobase®, were particularly important factors behind the purchase.

Gürbuz continued: “The majority of our fleet is supplied by Liebherr. The reason for that is our trust in the Liebherr brand and the quality of the products. Liebherr has never disappointed us. That is why we prefer Liebherr.”

The Sarilar Group was founded in 1980 in Iskederun (Turkey). Today the company has a 250-strong workforce. Sarilar has particularly specialised in heavy haulage and crane work in many different sectors. Its work includes jobs on wind turbines, thermal power plants, refineries and cement works. The company’s fleet now numbers over 200 cranes – the majority of them supplied by Liebherr. In addition to mobile and crawler cranes, the extensive portfolio of vehicles in the fleet also includes port and tower cranes.
