Sinoboom Overseas Sales and Marketing Director, Dawei He, gave a presentation on “How digitalization improves the safety of the industry” on the opening day of the 2023 edition of the IPAF Asia Conference, held at the Hilton Sukhumvit Bangkok, Thailand on August 3.

For 40 years IPAF has promoted the safe and effective use of powered access equipment around the world. During events such as the conference, discussions around continual improvements take place, helping to drive forward innovation and development. During his presentation, Dawei He examined the role of digitalization at all stages, from R&D, and manufacturing, to the after-sales service, exploring the numerous ways in which advanced technology can enhance the safety of equipment and operators:

“In the product development stage, Sinoboom uses a digital simulation analysis platform and detection technology to ensure the closed-loop management of product safety and quality. In the manufacturing stage, end-to-end digital production and management enable the precise control of product quality and safety. In the after-sales stage, we use big data platforms, SAP systems and more to build strong security systems. Sinoboom is also accelerating the application of our telematics system to overseas markets, alongside the use of digital means such as VR and AR in technical training and remote troubleshooting.”

Since Sinoboom’s establishment in 2008, it has recognized the importance of the work IPAF does. The company has been an IPAF member since 2010, the first Chinese MEWP manufacturer to take membership. Sinoboom CEO, Susan Xu, is also an IPAF Council member.
