Multimodal Volvo’s

Last month, the Van der Vlist team started on a big project for our trusted client, Volvo. Phase one involved 500 machines being handled and transported from the port of Antwerp to Van der Vlist Moerdijk, Schelluinen and Groot-Ammers within 16 business days. By using barges, 150 fewer truck transports were needed. This way, Van der Vlist ensured bigger efficiency, fewer emissions, and a smaller impact on traffic. SMS CZ machines on display in Belgium at Libramont 2023

Belgium and BENELUX are among the traditional markets of the Czech agricultural equipment producer SMS CZ. In its 10 years of presence in the region, the Czech brand has built a stable position and exports dozens of machines per year. That is why it regularly participates in the largest Belgian exhibition Libramont's Fair. And this year will be no different: from 28 July to 31 July, six SMS CZ machines will be presented at the show. Read more >>

Bobcat Dealer Versatile Equipment Celebrates Area Expansion

On the back of two and half successful years since the company was appointed as the Authorised Bobcat Dealer for Greater London, Essex, West Sussex, East Sussex, Kent and Surrey in the UK, Versatile Equipment Ltd has now been appointed to represent Bobcat in two more counties - Norfolk and Suffolk in East Anglia. A well-rounded affair

The city of Kassel in the German state of Hesse is gearing up for the future. At the sewage treatment plant, two aging stormwater overflow basins are being replaced by larger ones. To demolish the massive, ring-shaped concrete rims of the basins, the contractor Schnittger decided to use technology from KEMROC. Last year, a DMW 130 cutter wheel was used to demolish the rim of the first basin. This summer, a larger DMW 220 cutter wheel was used on the second basin to complete the work faster. Read more >>

DICA Receives First Patent for ProStack Slot Lock Cribbing Blocks

DICA has received a patent for its ProStack Slot Lock Interlocking Cribbing Blocks. Issued in late 2022, the patent (U.S. Patent 11,479,939), is for the slot and flange interlocking system. Each block has a flat lower surface with downward extending lips positioned at opposing ends of the lower surface. When the blocks are stacked and pressure is applied, the blocks lock together, giving users the ability to safely gain cribbing height in unlevel conditions. Read more >>
