The DL320-7 wheel loader is part of the next-generation -7 Series lineup, featuring upgrades such as increased bucket capacity, redesigned cab with first-class comfort features and fuel-saving technologies.

The DEVELON, formerly Doosan construction equipment, machine will be on display in booth F9153 this week during CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023. The DL320-7 offers a 7% larger capacity bucket (4.5 cubic yards) and axle upgrades. The increased capacity has been designed to provide faster, easier loading in fewer cycles.
Standard features include powershift 4-speed transmission, multiple power modes, Z-bar lift arm, return to dig and limited slip differentials. A reinforced box frame is designed to endure harsh working environments. The improved cooling system features wider radiator fin spacing and a reversible fan to clear debris and reduce clogging. And the wider front fender offers better windshield protection.

Variety of Options

A high-lift option delivers more lift height and reach — ideal for loading material into high-sided trucks or agricultural mixers. For added flexibility to tackle a variety of applications, an optional larger counterweight can be added to improve machine balance.

The exclusive Transparent Bucket option for -7 Series wheel loaders provides a supplemental visual perspective by allowing operators to “see through” the bucket from an in-cab display. Available for the first time for new -7 Series wheel loaders, an all-around view monitor (AVM) camera system option gives operators unmatched visibility to the machine’s surroundings.

The Load Isolation System for -7 Series wheel loaders improves vehicle stability while moving for greater productivity. The new DEVELON Smart Load weighing system is ideal for such job applications as aggregate and quarry work that require accurate information about material weight in the bucket.

Redesigned Cab

Frequently used controls on the DL320-7 wheel loader are relocated for more intuitive use for operators. All -7 Series wheel loaders have the same control setup, so operators will not need to readjust when moving from machine to machine.

The DEVELON Smart Touch screen displays all important settings and information, including the rearview camera view. Optional electronic steering allows operators to control direction and steer the machine with switches integrated into the left armrest.
All-around visibility is improved with increased glass area, a full glass door, larger mirrors and optional LED work lights. An upgraded heating and air conditioning system with adjustable vent locations maximizes heating and cooling efficiency.

Easy Maintenance

Maintenance is quick and easy on the DL320-7 wheel loader with centralized lubrication points plus convenient component access and fluid-level checks. Operators can use telematics to monitor their DL320-7 and manage maintenance to reduce operating costs. They can check machine location, fleet status, operating hours, error codes, fuel usage, engine idle vs. work time, engine and hydraulic oil temperature and various other data points.

Fuel Efficiency

Situation Awareness Technology (SAT) helps save fuel by automatically adjusting the engine output in real time to the needs of the drivetrain and hydraulics. In addition, automatic transmission modes shift gears to maximize efficiency. The standard auto-idle feature reduces engine rpm when the steering wheel or joystick isn’t being used, and auto-shutdown turns off the engine after a set amount of idle time.
