The Sommet de l'Élevage is an international business forum primarily devoted to showing animals, more than 2,000 animals of high genetic value is present at the show. It is now being held in the Grande Halle d'Auvergne event centre at Clermont-Ferrand in the Massif Central Region; the largest beef cattle breeding region in Europe.
