DRIVEX launches snow loader for TRACTORS: SL275

Drivex continues to expand its range of tools for the agricultural tractor sector, and in time for the 2014/15 winter season it’s launched the SL275 snow loader – an important new product that makes agricultural tractors even more efficient, profitable and safe for snow clearance.
The Drivex Snow Loader 275 is built on the same proven basic module as the SLE275 snow loader.

In contrast to the Drivex SLE275, the SL275 has no motor but is equipped with a robust bevel gear driven by the agricultural tractor’s power take-off. Can be fitted to any power take-off, front or rear – whichever suits you best. We recommend a turning seat if rear mounting is selected. Recommended tractor engine output is 250–350 hp.

With a capacity sufficient to fill a large truck bed in less than one minute, the SL275 has a powerful rotor with cutters that easily crush ice and packed snow.

The SL275 is designed with safety in mind, with individual shear bolts on the angled wings. The load arm is also hydraulically foldable to make driving between locations easy, and is equipped with floodlights.

Safety:

• The driver can focus entirely on the work up ahead.

• Sensor prevents rotor start when tower is retracted.

• Load holding valves prevent tower drop in event of burst hoses.

• Sensor at belt cover prevents opening when engine is running.

Efficiency: Apart from being very efficient, the snow loader also has the advantage of breaking up and compacting the snow in a completely different way to traditional loading buckets, resulting in higher compacting efficiency and fewer loads.

Power: Can handle severely compacted snow and ice.
