The DX350LCR-7 is a reduced tail swing model in the popular 35-metric-ton size class. The machine is one of the next-generation -7 Series crawler excavators and will be on display in booth F9153 at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2023.

The reduced tail swing configuration allows operators to work in confined areas, such as waste transfer stations and single-lane roadways, without sacrificing performance.

More Power, Precision

The DX350LCR-7 crawler excavator offers powerful digging forces and lifting capacity, strong swing torque, fast cycle times, a tighter front minimum swing radius and a standard arm configuration. A long arm configuration is also available for additional dig depth and reach.

Four selectable power modes and a one-touch power boost feature give operators better control over the machine’s power and efficiency to help take on difficult digging conditions. Other versatility and productivity features include an auto downshift, increased ground clearance and maneuverability with the X-Chassis undercarriage design, and an optional front dozer blade.

Comfort Features

More comfort features come standard on the DX350LCR-7, including increased cab space for operators’ legs, arms and head. Noise levels are low, while auto-style air conditioning and heating and automatic climate control help increase productivity. A heated and cooled air-suspension seat is optional.

Operators get a better view of the worksite through front, side, rear and overhead windows and a standard rearview camera. The optional 360-degree all-around view monitoring (AVM) camera system displays a full view of the machine’s surroundings for greater confidence when operating or positioning the excavator in tight work areas. Operators can see five unique visual perspectives from the AVM monitor: top view, rear view, top+right view, rear+corner view and 3D view. Reduced tail swing models display the view from the Smart Touch display.

On select models, owners can link the AVM camera system with optional ultrasonic detection sensors for an additional level of awareness of objects behind the machine. Operators can set an audio alarm and be alerted when obstacles are close to the excavator.

The user-friendly, multilingual Smart Touch screen comes standard on the DX350LCR-7. It shows all important settings and information on one screen. In addition, ergonomically designed joystick and fingertip controls make operation easier.

Smart Technologies to Maximize Performance

The exclusive Smart Power Control (SPC) helps improve efficiency and maintain productivity. The Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS) monitors and optimizes machine performance while reducing fuel consumption.

Two automatic features, auto idle and auto shutdown, also help reduce fuel consumption by idling or shutting down the equipment after a set period of inactivity.

Convenient component access and the standard telematics helps keep the DX350LCR-7 crawler excavator running at peak performance. The telematics system monitors the health, location and productivity of a customer’s machine — providing alerts when maintenance is due.

Engineered for Long Life

The X-Chassis undercarriage has added mainframe material that delivers higher performance and prolongs its durability. Ultra-hard, wear-resistant plates bolt on at the end of the machine arm to maximize reliability.

A variety of attachments are available on the DX350LCR-7 to expand jobsite capabilities, and they’re easy to switch without leaving the cab using the hydraulic quick coupler. In addition, when it’s time for maintenance, operators can get ground-level access to all filters and easy access to regular inspection points. Access panels are easy to find and open from the top, bottom and sides of the excavator.
