Bohnenkamp's OTR offering encompasses every conceivable type of tyre for use on vehicles for earth-moving, transportation, loading and lifting, as well as construction site use. This also includes tyres for dockside forklifts and transport cranes. The extremely broad range of products forms the basis for Bohnenkamp being able to offer the right solution for every job. The EM range has now been expanded to include almost 200 different tyres. In addition to this, there are over 100 different tyre sizes and tread patterns for construction site and transport vehicles available directly from stock. Geared to the needs of the customer

By focusing on the needs of the customer, Bohnenkamp has built up sales-orientated structures where personal service, logistics and product offering complement each other perfectly. To this end there are 50 tyre specialists on hand at the Service Center to provide telephone support and a further 15 area managers to give personal assistance locally. The products are warehoused at the four German sites (Osnabrück, Leipzig, Kletzin and Landshut) and the subsidiaries in the Netherlands and Slovakia in an area that covers over 85,000 m². A sophisticated logistics system ensures that the ordered tyres are shipped within 24 hours.

Highest quality standards at BKT

With four state-of-the-art production facilities and their own in-house mould manufacturing plant, the Indian manufacturer BKT is now one of the world's leading manufacturers of tyres for professional use. The manufacturer places great emphasis on the quality of its products. They undergo extensive quality controls. For example, all OTR radial tyres are subjected to an X-ray test, sherography (control of air pockets in the carcass) and a concentricity test.

BKT, whose products are used as original equipment by many manufacturers, has been represented in the German market by Bohnenkamp for over 15 years.

Bohnenkamp has been supplying Windpower-brand truck tyres since 2006. In 2012, the wholesaler included in its portfolio the full range of tried-and-tested EM products comprising over 60 different tyres. Windpower is a brand from the manufacturer ChemChina. The company is the fifth-largest tyre manufacturer in China, and one of the top 20 tyre manufacturers in the world. ChemChina has over six years' experience manufacturing OTR tyres. European standards are used as the benchmark for production and quality. The products, which are exported to over 140 countries around the world, are subject to a continual development and testing process.
