Equippo Wins First Prize at START Summitt 15 Startup Competition

Equippo outpaced 60+ other Swiss, Austrian, and German companies last Saturday to win the grand prize at START Summitt 15, “Europe’s leading conference on entrepreneurship and innovation.” The winner of START 15’s startup competition takes home 10,000 CHF, an invitation to the final pitch round of Plug & Play Accelerator's Pitch Days, a trip to Berlin hosted by Axel Springer, and other prizes.

Representing Equippo, CEO Michael Rohmeder pitched the company to over 100 investors. After moving into the top five, Equippo was selected winner by a jury of startup and tech experts, including Axel Springer’s Joerg Rheinboldt and Prosiebensat.1 Accelerator’s MD Jens Pippig.
