Founded in 1919, the French company celebrates a century of activity and sets a comprehensive set of objectives for continued growth.

The centenary celebration will be combined with the inauguration of a new building in Andrézieux-Bouthéon, in the department of Loire, France. In the same period in mid-September, the annual dealers’ meeting will also take place in nearby Lyon, turning those few days into a great event to celebrate the century of activity.

Before September, however, there are a series of programmes to develop that include the first Bauma trade fair, followed by the Group's participation in Waste Expo in the United States and Solutrans in France. In fact, in 2019 the launch of the new Ampliroll AL24 and AL26 range of high-capacity Hooklifts is planned. The main feature of these new models is improved performance thanks to a higher speed of execution and a lighter weight, all benefitting the possibility of loading and equipping the vehicle thanks to the fact that they are completely bolt-on. Furthermore, the new Hooklift will offer a wide range of specialised accessories.

Since Marrel joined the Fassi Group in 2013, sales volumes of the Hooklift models have doubled; in particular, in 2018, when sales of the Hooklift models increased by 12% compared to the previous year. Despite these excellent results, the future plans are numerous and well-structured, with continuous innovation guaranteed by major investments in R&D in order to offer a completely new product portfolio: specifically, the study of new hooks to face new markets and thus support the company’s growth strategy.
