A jury comprising agricultural specialists from the Adam-Mickiewicz University Poznan, as well as farm managers from test farms, awarded the medal for innovations in agricultural engineering.

“We are proud that we have received this award for all kinds of Fendt vehicles over the years,” says Przemyslaw Pilarczyk, Sales Director at the Polish Fendt distributor Korbanek. “It shows that the demand and necessity for modern agricultural machinery exists and Fendt products deliver exactly the economy and efficiency that professional farmers in Poland want,” says Przemyslaw Pilarczyk.

The Polish agricultural equipment market

“The Fendt 1050 Vario supplements the existing tractor line-up and, with its technical innovations, gives the Fendt brand an innovative edge,” explains Wolfgang Möhrer, Fendt Sales Manager for the regions Portugal, Greece and Israel as well as Austria and Poland. The Polish agricultural equipment market has been under pressure for some time. In February, sales declined by 25% in comparison to the previous year. Despite this, Fendt was able to increase its market share slightly, which shows that professional machines are in demand, even in a tight market situation,” says Wolfgang Möhrer.

The POLAGRA-PREMIERY is considered the “little Agritechnica” in Poland. Some 380 manufacturers presented more than 500 agricultural equipment brands. More than 45,000 visitors streamed through the halls of the international trade show centre in Poznan from 21 to 24 January.
