With world premieres in training technology, new equipment launches, and a detailed conference programme now confirmed, the 10th edition of GIS is set for a record-breaking return to Piacenza, Italy, from 25-27th September. The final exhibitor count now stands at over 490 brands across a 100,000 m² footprint, cementing the show as Europe’s largest event for the lifting, access, and heavy transport industries.
As final preparations get underway, the 10th edition of GIS is confirmed to be the largest in the event's history. The show floor will host more than 490 brands, offering visitors an unparalleled overview of the latest machinery, components, and services in the lifting, industrial and port handling, and heavy transport sectors.
“The industry has responded with overwhelming confidence, making this 10th edition a true landmark event,” said Fabio Potestà, director of organiser Mediapoint & Exhibitions. “Beyond the record scale, the quality and innovation being brought to the show floor are exceptional. GIS will be the definitive meeting point for the European industry this year.”

3Bmust International will unveil its advanced virtual reality (VR) crane simulator. Developed with Better Than Real Simulators, a spin-off from the University of Sant’Anna in Pisa, the system offers immersive, risk-free training for operators in realistic port, logistics, and infrastructure environments.

Milan-based BREVA will make its market debut, showcasing a range of highly customisable heavy-duty semi-trailers for the construction and quarrying sectors, including power-tank models and concrete mixers.

Settima will present its latest hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems, including the Continuum and SpinRel electric motors, which deliver ultra-quiet operation and high performance without the use of rare-earth materials.

The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) will launch a new global safety campaign focused on the importance of reporting accidents and near-misses through its portal. IPAF CEO Peter Douglas will be on hand to explain how the data shapes safety standards worldwide.
High-level conference programme confirmed
Alongside the exhibition, a comprehensive schedule of conferences and seminars will address the industry's most pressing issues. Key sessions include:

European association ESTA and Italian association A.N.N.A. will co-host a session on reducing risks in heavy transport and lifting, while ANFIA will spotlight the recognised profession of crane installers on industrial vehicles.

Experts from INAIL (Italy’s national workplace safety body) and the Italian Ministry of Labour will lead a session on the responsibilities in managing lifting equipment.

The show will also celebrate industry excellence with a full schedule of awards ceremonies. The ITALPLATFORM (Access) awards will take place on the evening of Thursday 25th September, followed by the ITALA (Logistics) and ILTA (Lifting & Transport) awards on Friday 26th September. The popular GIS by Night networking party will also return on Friday evening, providing a relaxed setting for exhibitors and their customers.
