The CombiMAX from Faymonville functions on a modular basis. The customer selects precisely the elements needed for the haulage task in hand.
THE COMBIMAX FACTOR FOR TEAM HEAVY WEIGHT
Multi-functional and optimally designed to overcome complicated administrative hurdles – the CombiMAX is a real all-rounder.
“Simply a top product” says Jef Hufkens of the heavy goods handling firmTeam Heavy Weight. His company recently took possession of aCombiMAX combination consisting of two 3-axle bogies plus a 2-axleand one 4-axle boogie. Added to this, two low beds, an add-on extension support and two goosenecks mean that all possible requirements are now covered.
COMBIMAX OFFERS AN OPTIMUM EMPTY WEIGHT AND A COMPACT CONSTRUCTION
“We are using the CombiMAX to carry 100-tonne loads over long distances” says managing director Eric Hufkens when asked about the vehicle requirements. “The CombiMAX also ticks important boxes such as an optimum empty weight and short, compact construction”. Hufkens also praised the good sales support “We got precise answers to every technical question”. The delivery time was unbeatable and we were able to start work in no time”.
"....EXACTLY WHAT HAULAGE COMPANIES NEED"
As a driver, Jef Hufkens works every day with the new semi-trailer and so has concrete experience of its unassailable benefits. “The CombiMAX is really light and uniquely flexible. It’s exactly what haulage companies need these days”. For example: “I recently converted a 5+7-combination to a 3+6 without a crane. I simply loaded the dismantled elements onto the low bed. My overall length remained less than 30 meters and I was able to make the unloaded run back home un-escorted.”
TIME SAVING AND COST SAVING
That’s worth a lot whichever way you look at it. “I save myself 10 hours waiting time and an escort vehicle. Conversion takes just three hours. Even in the short term you can make immense savings“. And it’s so easy to use. “It doesn't even take a day to learn. It’s simple low loader technology with modular options“.
CHANGING AXLE NUMBER WITHOUT CRANE OR UNLOADING
Especially for international hauliers, administrative regulations and requirements are becoming ever more complicated. Axle loadstandards vary from one place to another and this is a daily challenge for Jef Hufkens. However, the CombiMAX has new things to offer here too. “The advantage is, we can change the number of axles during a journey without a crane and without unloading either”.
FLEXIBILITY IN ACTION, COMBIMAX MAKES IT ALL POSSIBLE
Team Heavy Weight makes numerous trips right across Europe and the CombiMAX has a few tricks up its sleeve for this. “For example, when we come out of Germany with a 3+6 low-loader combination with a 12t axle load. If we then have to enter France or Belgium we simply leave two axles at the border and continue as a 3+4-combination with 13t axle load”. The axle load and fifth wheel load can thus be optimally adjusted. Flexibility in action, CombiMAX makes it all possible. “We save 3 meters in length and 5t net weight“.
COC-CONFORMITY PERMITS A LEGAL INTERNATIONAL PASSAGE
The CoC conformity certificate also permits registration in every EU country and therefore international passage in legal terms. Modularity, flexibility, speed and efficiency – the revolutionary CombiMAX conceptoffers vital flexibility in the life of a transport company.
