PB scissor quintet for Steiness

Quite recently a PB S240-24D 4x4 goes on a 1000 km long trip across Germany to the Steiness Liftcenter in Tåstrup / Denmark.

At the Steiness Liftcenter headquarters the MegaDeck Scissor lift was received very well by the Steiness CEO Poul Steiness.This delivered PB S240-24D 4x4 is a true „power-scissor“. With a powerful Deutz diesel engine long working cycles are guaranteed. A standard differential lock ensures high propulsion. The mega deck of the device combines the features “power” and “space” and provides a lift capacity of 1000 kg on the entire max. 7.98 m x 2.40 m large platform.

With 24 m working height the scissor lift is ideal for large-scale facades-, installations- and assembling works. So that these works can be done in complete safety and regardless of ground conditions the automatic leveling system levels unevenness of the ground in a few seconds to 0°. Thus, the platform can easily maneuvered “bold upright” to the desired working height – even directly at the object.

In addition to the PB S240-24D 4x4 Steiness Liftcenter has ordered 4 further PB scissor lifts of the PB TOP-series. Especially to meet the strong demand for high-performance, flexible in use scissor lifts.

This package includes 3 units of the “slim” PB TOP 12 series. Two PB S171-12ES and one PB S225-12ES with working heights of 17.10 m and 22.50 m and width of only 1.22 m. Perfect to work in confined space conditions at higher altitudes. Optimal stability thanks to the patented PB supports system, a powerful electro-hydraulic drive and a sensitive proportional control (driving, lifting and lowering) are also standard features of the slim scissors. All units already in place at Steiness Liftcenter.

The last unit is still in production. A model of the new PB S225-24DS 4x4 will complete the package and will start on its way to Denmark by the beginning of 2016.

This device provides everything which workers hearts desires: 22.30 m working height, 750 kg lift capacity on the entire max. 7.20 m x 2.36 m platform, powerful Deutz diesel engine, rough terrain tires, differential lock, all-wheel drive and a fully automatic supports system.
