Fliegl Agro-Center presents with its Beaver a fell gripper which knows how do work with trees. The tough tool made of high tensile steel is equipped with a wear resistant special steel cutter which is moved by an indestructible mechanism. It makes tree cuts with a diameter of up to 25 cm uncompromising and quickly and leaves a clean cutting edge and a flat butt. The Beaver, with its resistant frame construction, can be adjusted continuously and offers a tilting function of 90 degrees* to reach the desired cutting position and to be able to take trunks in steep areas easier. The great opening width of 1400 mm is giving the fell gripper excellent properties of loading – the cutter is folded away hydraulically for these works. The ergonomic concept of the Fliegl Beaver is adjusted for the handling of different types of wood without destroying the wood.

The installation of the device is easy and is done with a continuous rotator or with a holder for excavators. The counter knifes and the cutter are fixed so that they are easy to maintain – four screws make the change comfortable. About the hydraulic: cutting and gripping functions are controlled centrally by a cylinder. The connection to the basic machine (lorry with crane superstructure, excavator, forestry machinery) is done without any additional additions or modifications. A stopcock for the hydraulic circuit guarantees security for installation and maintenance. It is also used for the locking of the blade during charging works. The gripper hydraulic disposes of an own overload protection. The Beaver goes along with two supply lines. Therefore, the continuous rotation is possible. The conduits and the control blocks are safely.

Fliegl Agro-Center offers three Beaver configurations:

• Version 1: for mini excavators up to 8 t, with a tight screwed cutter, with an universal mounting plate, requires a double action control device

• Version 2: for mini excavators up to 8 t, with a hydraulically displaceable cutter, with an universal mounting plate, requires two double action control devices (cutter and pincer)

• Version 3: for loader cranes up to 8 t, with a hydraulically displaceable cutter, with an universal mounting plate (4-hole, 6-hole, hydraulic rotator), optional with universal excavator mounting plate, requires a double action control device (special control block)

Exchange cutters and counter blades can also be delivered separately.
