Focus on Haulotte’s innovations

Haulotte is well known to place innovation at the heart of its strategy. Last week, the group participated in the Innovation Day event for aerial lifts in Fulda, Germany. Attendees were able to observe first hand the technologies developed to improve operators’ safety and maximize machine uptime.

During the two exhibition days, the 100 m² stand welcomed plenty of customers, who shared experiences with the German team and requested details about Haulotte’s products, innovations, projects and services. Visitors enjoyed getting hands-on experience with the equipment. The German subsidiary showcased the last machine of its successful vertical mast range: Haulotte Star 8S. Designed for indoor use, this multipurpose vertical mast combines high torque with precise and smooth control, and enables operators to work efficiently and confidently up to 8 meters. The Optimum 8 was also displayed in the outdoor space. Agile and versatile, the electric scissor lift is designed to provide the best driving and lifting experience, both inside and outside. It requires almost no intervention; its extreme robustness ensures an optimized total cost of ownership. Both machines are equiped with the on-board diagnostic tool Haulotte Activ’Screen, which provide technicians with key information and maintenance alerts. Operators thus remain perfectly autonomous and have full control over the machine.

The 100% electric all terrain articulating boom HA20 LE PRO was also displayed in the outdoor space. The electric mobile elevating platform offers a clean alternative suited to any situation. The Haulotte Activ’Lighting System received enthusiastic support as it ensures the safety of the driver during loading and unloading thanks to lighting points ideally placed around the machine. The Haulotte Activ’ Shield Bar system fully integrated into the control panel reduces the risk of overhead crushing injuries. In an entrapment situation, the operator is pushed towards the bar and the machine stops automatically. «HA20LE PRO is the topic of conversation #1.
