The KUHN range of foldable power harrows, designed to work in combination with a seeding bar, expands with the launch of a new model!

The new HR 6030 RCS power harrow with a working width of 6.00 metres, completes KUHN’s HR 1030 RCS range of foldable and combination power harrows which already features 4.00, 4.50, and 5.00 metre models.

Power-to-weight ratio optimised

With a centre of gravity close to the tractor, weight optimisation, and 6.00-metre working width, the HR 6030 RCS power harrow is adapted to medium-power tractors while accepting a maximum power of 350 hp. The central gearbox is equipped with an oil cooler for overheating protection. An integrated pump activates the oil cooler automatically with the PTO, so no operator action is required! The clever rotor design and robust gearboxes ensure a long service life and lower maintenance costs.

Efficient crumbling and tamping

The power harrows in the HR 1030 RCS range come with DURAKUHN carbide coated tines as standard. These tines are more resistant to shocks and wear. The FAST-FIT system reduces the time necessary to change the tines. They are compatible with MEGAPACKER (Ø 590 mm) and STEELLINER (Ø 550 mm) rollers which ensure efficient tamping and optimum carrying capacity thanks to their large diameters.

A modular concept!

Power harrows in the HR 1030 RCS range are designed to work solo or in combination with a cereal or precision seeding bar. Special attachment parts, fitted to the roller frame, make it easy to couple and uncouple a seeding bar. The concept brings the centre of gravity very close to the tractor, limits overhang, and reduces the power required to lift the combination. It also has a positive effect on output quality because it follows the land brilliantly and ensures a constant seeding depth which is independent from the power harrow’s working depth.

When used with a TF 1512 single-tank front hopper (1,500 litres (2,000 litres with extension)) or a TF 2300 C double tank (2,300 litres (60%/40% partition)), the combinations form a well-balanced unit with a very large operating range.

Continuously adapts to working conditions

The hydraulic settings for working depth, levelling bar, and seeding depth, are controlled directly from the cab with the front hopper’s ISOBUS terminal to provide maximum user comfort! This makes it possible to adapt to working conditions in real time to produce the desired result.
