For huge tasks: New transfer vehicle with 46 m3 capacity

The capacity of transfer vehicles is also increasing in line with the sizes of combine harvesters. This is why Annaburger Nutzfahrzeug GmbH is presenting its new HTS 34.16 model with a loading volume of 46 m³ at Agritechnica 2017. The transfer auger with a 600 mm diameter has been dimensioned to be compatible with this massive capacity. This provides a transfer capacity of 20 m³/min and empties the vehicle in less than three minutes. This allows vehicles to be filled up to a max. height of 5.70 m or side clearance of max. 3.20 m.

The chassis is equipped with large tyres with dimensions of 750/60 R 30.5 and electronic forced steering for the first and third axles in order to protect the ground. The hydraulically suspended axles guarantee a high level of driving comfort and roll stability.

Reliable and robust

"To optimise the unladen weight, the vehicle features a self-supporting, torsion-resistant composite structure comprised of drawbar, frame and container assembly. This provides a high level of stability without additional weight," is how Dietmar Hinz from the Annaburger sales team explains the features of the technology. In addition, all drives are dimensioned for the increased performance requirements and to ensure durability.

The Uniscale weighing device is available for directly recording the weight in the field. Two weighing pins in the chassis and one in the towing eye provide the measured data for this.

It is possible to equip the vehicle with two separate chambers, even in the standard version. This allows fertiliser and seed to be transported in one load to supply seed drills in the field, for example. A hydraulic drive in the screw conveyors is then responsible for precisely metering the quantity. With the hydraulically pivotable discharge chute (2.30 m long), the seed then runs precisely into the seed tank – without a 6.00 m wide seed drill having to be folded in.

The reliable total weight of the transport vehicle is 34 t (drawbar load 4 t with K80 ball-head lower hitch). The manufacturer also optionally provides easy-to-open covers, discharge on the underside of the vehicle, LED work lights and load sensing equipment.
