GaLaBau 2022 ready for take-off: Nuremberg set to turn green again

There will be a major reunion from 14 to 17 September 2022 when the gardening and landscaping sector finally meets in Nuremberg again for its ‘family gathering’ at GaLaBau, the leading international fair for the design, construction and maintenance of urban and green spaces, sports grounds, golf courses and playgrounds. The honorary sponsor and founder of GaLaBau is BGL (Bundesverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau e.V.) and the exhibition is organised by NürnbergMesse. At long last, inspiration, networking and hands-on experiences will be possible again at a face-to-face event, and prospective exhibitors can register for the event now.

GaLaBau is the only exhibition worldwide to cover the entire range of solutions, from plants through to machinery, for the design, construction and maintenance of urban, green and open spaces. For quite some time now the exhibition has been the No. 1 meeting place and must-do event for the gardening and landscaping community. From gardening and landscaping firms to architects and designers, motorised equipment dealers and municipalities, all major players are represented. The diverse range of products with numerous innovations is complemented by a comprehensive supporting programme featuring the exciting demonstration areas, special shows and presentations that make GaLaBau such a popular hands-on experience.

Highlights of GaLaBau 2022

As always, GaLaBau offers the best overview of innovations and trends in the sector. Especially in conjunction with the trending issues of climate protection, new and alternative technologies for machines, smart gardening and digitalisation, there will be plenty to discover in the supporting programme, special shows and forum discussions. The programme will continue to include familiar and popular highlights such as:

• The Garten[T]Räume (dream gardens) display in the BGL zone, which presents a comprehensive overview of various trends in the landscaping and gardening segment

• The various forums like GaLaBau Landscape Talks (geared towards municipalities and landscape architects) and the BGL expert forum (aimed at horticulturists and landscapers)

• Activities relating to playgrounds, organised by the German Federal Association for Playground Equipment and Leisure Facility Manufacturers (BSFH) in partnership with the trade magazine “Playground@Landscape”

• The young talent area GaLaBau Camp and the Landscape Gardener Cup in the exhibition centre park
