CARCO, a long-standing leader in heavy-duty winch solutions, is expanding its Factory Remanufactured Winch Program to help equipment owners restore, modernize and adapt their existing winches for evolving fleet needs.

The CARCO Reman Program enables customers to return eligible winches to the factory for a comprehensive remanufacturing process that includes disassembly, inspection, resurfacing, resealing, reassembly, repainting, testing, and recertification. Each unit is returned to current factory specifications and backed by a new one-year factory warranty.

A key advantage of the program is the ability to convert existing winches to work with different host machines. This allows contractors and fleet managers to redeploy proven CARCO equipment onto newer dozers or alternate platforms rather than purchasing entirely new systems. The conversion capability helps maximize asset utilization, simplify fleet transitions, and maintain OEM-level performance across changing equipment configurations.

In addition to flexibility, the program delivers cost savings of 20 to 40% compared to buying new units, extends service life, and supports sustainability initiatives by reducing material waste and manufacturing demand.
