Reason enough therefore for representatives from industry and commerce and service providers from the construction machinery and the building materials industries to converge at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Centre in Moscow from 31.05.16 to 04.06.16. Also exhibiting was the construction hoist manufacturer GEDA-Dechentreiter GmbH & Co.KG.

Following on from its successful exhibitions there over the past few years, the GEDA trade show team once again travelled to Moscow to the CTT. On the GEDA stand numerous visitors from across the world were able to see the company’s wide product range for themselves. Along with a selection of small devices such as the GEDA Star wire rope lift with its load capacity up to 250 kg, the well-proven GEDA Lift and part of the suspended working platform range also made the journey to Russia.

GEDA’s managing director Johann Sailer participated in the show’s official opening ceremony

In his role as VDMA (German Engineering Federation) Chairman of the Construction Equipment and Building Material Machinery Association, Johann Sailer, together with the managing director of the Munich Trade Fair, Klaus Dittrich and international representatives from business and politics, officially opened the seventeenth CTT. In his address Sailer emphasised the importance of the Russian and Eastern European markets for the future of the entire construction equipment and building materials sectors going on to say that it is precisely in difficult times when it is important to demonstrate commitment to the sector and be present in person as an exhibitor.

Show highlight: GEDA SBL 2000

New concepts for new markets is the banner under which at this year's CTT GEDA exhibited the GEDA SBL 2000 - its new personnel and materials lift especially designed for markets outside Europe.
Special solutions, aligned exactly to individual building requirements, are not required in most cases in markets outside Europe. In contrast with other, variably adjustable hoist solutions from GEDA, the new GEDA SBL 2000 is therefore only available in a fixed platform size of 3.20 x 1.45 x 2.10 metres, a standard load capacity of 2000 kg and 23 people, as well as a hoist speed of 55 m/min and a lifting height of 250 m.

And of course, the GEDA SBL 2000 in no way lags behind other hoist solutions from the extensive GEDA range in terms of quality and safety as shown by the fact that the complete platform is hot dip galvanised making it particularly robust.
The title “Made in Germany” also stands for quality outside Europe and according to Johann Sailer, GEDA’s managing director, it is particularly important to stress in this context that although the GEDA SBL 2000 has been designed specifically to meet the precise requirements of Eastern European markets, it was developed and manufactured entirely in Germany.

A focus on customer proximity

The international character of CTT makes it, amongst other things, an ideal springboard for accessing the target markets of Russia and Eastern Europe and it also serves as an ideal business platform for information exchanges and worldwide collaboration.
GEDA understands the importance of being close to its customers. The establishment of both GEDA MAJOR in Istanbul in Turkey at the end of 2012 and of the company's own subsidiary in Moscow in 2008 has for some time now created the framework for the company to provide targeted services to these markets.
With this successful participation at CTT in Moscow, the German construction hoist manufacturer has taken yet another step to supplying the future market of Russia, Eastern Europe and the CIS with its unique lift solutions.
