GENIE® GTH™ telehandlers strike back

For the past two years, Genie has mobilized its resources to design and produce a new range of Genie® GTH™ telehandlers. The key focus? To offer rental customers and end-users in the construction, waste handling, recycling, industrial and logistics sectors - which represent the core of the company’s telehandler activity - a new range of extremely reliable and tough products dedicated to their challenging jobsite environment. The result? A choice of models wide enough to provide a solution to all their application needs, but above all focused on combining the quality, productivity and return on investment that customers expect from Genie equipment.

Taking the right direction: the key to success for Genie and its customers

Before being operated by Genie, the factory in Umbertide, Italy, offered over 40 different telehandlers models designed for multiple applications in a wide range of different sectors. In those days, “made to measure” took precedence over a rationalized approach to product design and production. Looking ahead, it proved necessary to take the right measures to focus on intelligent design, manufacturing quality and customer satisfaction - all of which are values that have built the reputation of Genie for almost 50 years.

Looking to an exciting future

Over the past two years, Genie has concentrated its efforts on completely redefining its telehandler portfolio. This has involved everyone from engineers to technicians and sales team. On the product testing circuit at the Umbertide plant, the new machines have undergone severe testing in extreme conditions, day after day for hundreds of hours - the equivalent of 10 years’ operation in the jobsite environment. If any issues were found, it was back to the drawing board to find the solution. Today, the result is a new range of six completely redesigned models featuring new engines, enhanced capabilities, increased serviceability, more interchangeable components and accessories, and a new generation Genie livery.

Total confidence demonstrated by new actions coming soon

The entire Genie team is one hundred per cent confident in its new telehandler range. To demonstrate this, a series of actions related to its commercialization, from warranty to financing solutions and after sales service solutions will be revealed to customers soon.

Intermat 2105 product premier: the new Genie^® GTH™-4018

One of our new models, the Genie® GTH™-4018, will mark the launch of the new GTH™ telehandler series at Intermat 2015 in Villepinte, France this April. An opportunity for customers to discover at close quarters the strengths of the new range and the benefits that qualify all six models as the reference on today’s telehandler market.
