Veteran of Zappos and Amazon to help guide development of Harvest Automation robots for eCommerce fulfillment.

Harvest Automation announced today the addition of Craig Adkins to its Advisory Board.  Harvest is a leader in mobile robots for a range of industrial applications with a platform that automates the heavy, repetitive work.   Harvest robots are designed to work with and around people, where a combination of people and robots provides the most productive, scalable and flexible approach to getting the work done.

Craig Adkins has spent almost twenty years at the leading edge of e-commerce fulfillment operations including major roles at both Zappos and Amazon.  As eCommerce volume and customer expectations have grown rapidly, Craig was at the forefront of implementing systems solutions within these businesses to efficiently and cost effectively meet demand.  In addition, Craig was the Plant Manager at Yazaki North America, bringing process improvement and quality initiatives to their automotive parts distribution business.

"We are thrilled to have Craig join our Advisory Board", stated John Kawola, CEO of Harvest Automation.  "As we add capability to address eCommerce Fulfillment customers, Craig will be instrumental in helping us design and build what the customer will really value."

Craig Adkins comments:  "The eCommerce Fulfillment market is growing very quickly and there are big problems to solve.  The team at Harvest has taken a very thoughtful approach in developing their solution, making smart decisions about product, cost and workflows.  I am excited to contribute."
