Haulotte attended the Nationwide Platforms ‘Working at Height Best Practice Forum’, held on September 27th at Heythrop Park In Oxfordshire. The event brought together a wealth of professionals from across the Working at Height and Health & Safety sectors with the aim of improving best practice and industry standards.
Haulotte is committed to improve safety in powered access equipment
The forum was the occasion for suppliers and delegates to experience first-hand Haulotte’s latest innovations to improve operators’ safety:
-
The Haulotte Activ’Lighting System ensures the safety of the driver during loading and unloading operations thanks to lighting points placed around the machine.
-
The Haulotte Activ’Shield Bar integrated into the hood avoids entrapment situations, as it automatically stops the machine when an operator is pushed towards the bar.
A perfect showcase for Haulotte’s equipment
Haulotte UK displayed a selection of MEWPs at the event including its latest vertical mast Star 8S. Compact, the 8 m model provides unmatched precision and comfort to get to hard-to-reach places. The mast architecture offers optimal stability; control and manoeuvring when elevated are intuitive thanks to smooth proportional movements. The subsidiary also highlighted the electric articulating boom HA20 LE PRO. The all-terrain and environmentally friendly PULSEO machine offers a quiet experience for people nearby, indoor or outdoor. Quick, proportional and simultaneous movements ensure optimal performance. High capacity batteries provide electric autonomy for a full day’s work. Other machines were exhibited such as the robust electric scissor lift Compact 14 and high-performance telescopic boom HT28 RTJ PRO. «This forum has been really informative, the discussion will inspire us to develop new innovation-driven features» said Ged Kelly, Haulotte UK National Account Manager.
