HR 7040 R: the best compromise in working width / transport height

The new HR 7040 R with its 7m working width completes the high-powered range of power harrows designed for contractors and large arable farms looking for high productivity and efficient solutions for safe seedbed preparation in any type of soil. Effective for deep or surface work, in spring or autumn, in dry or wet conditions.

The drive chain on this 7m working width model is adapted to tractors with up to 480hp power take-off.

The HR 7040 R is the best compromise in terms of working width and transport height. It folds to a transport height of 3.75m which is perfectly suited to road travel.

Designed for intensive use, this model comes with a monitoring terminal as standard. The terminal informs the driver in the cab if one of the clutches is triggered and displays the oil temperature in the 3 gearboxes.

With continuous hydraulic adjustment of working depth and levelling bar, the machine is capable of adapting to varying plot conditions, resulting in great preparation and lower power consumption.

Nothing has been compromised on the quality of seedbed preparation, the fundamentals are still included:

• 3 and a half rotors/m, the ideal solution for working in both stony conditions and in large volumes of residue: no more stones piled up at the end of the field.

• Indexed levelling bar on the roller, for perfect crumbling and fast adjustment, independent of working depth.

• Adjustable rotor speed, up to 500rpm resulting in effective crumbling, even in very dry clay soil.

• A wide range of equipment, wheel track eradicators, rollers… to adapt to any conditions.

The HR 7040 R complements the KUHN range of power harrows which now includes 1.2m to 8m working widths for tractors from 80hp to 500hp.
