HT23 RTJ - Telescopic boom

This aerial work platform has been designed by our R&D department in close collaboration with a panel of customers to meet the needs of a range of industries working at heights up to 23m. Ideal for many applications including construction work, the shipbuilding industry, chemical and petrochemical industries, and the aviation industry…., this machine has unsurpassed performance.

An unmatched working envelope

At all levels, the new HT23 RTJ breaks records

• Platform working height 22,5m,
• Horizontal outreach 18,3m, around 1 m higher than industry standards
• Dual load system, available as an option, for a lifting capacity up to 450 kg.

An incomparable lifting speed

The best lifting speed: 56 seconds is enough to reach full height, increasing productivity two fold in this product segment.

An optimal maneuverability

• The best turning radius of its class with 4 wheel steer and drive making it easy to operate on congested building sites and/or in tight spaces.
• Steering selector with 3 positions: two-wheel steer, four wheel steer and crab mode. With centralized control, the four wheels are controlled simultaneously, allowing the steering movements to operate more quickly and safely.
• High level of driving control at full speed, with jib raised for better visibility of the wheels and obstacles

High rough terrain capability

The new telescopic boom HT23 RTJ has oscillating axle as standard and automatic differential lock which give excellent rough-terrain ability

• Similarly, for unmatched performance in terms of simultaneous movements, special care has been taken to optimise the capacity of hydraulic circuit. The operator can achieve maximum control in safely and comfort.
• The chassis is fully hydraulic driven that makes the machine extreme reliable.

Easy maintenance

All components were selected to high standards

• Kubota engine : for the most reliable and quietest machine in its class
• Bosch Joystick
• Hydraulic components: Sauer, Bosch and Hydraforce
• Deutsch connectors

All moving parts are equipped with lubrication points for simplicity of maintenance and extended component life. Extension of the boom is performed by cables; it is no longer necessary to dismantle the boom to replace the extension system. Components are easy to access and to maintain.

The HT23 RTJ is the first machine to have the new Haulotte fully modular basket which is easy and cost effective to repair. The basket is fully modular which means it is possible to replace only the damaged component instead of changing the whole basket.

Offering a maximum safety level, the big boom HT23 RTJ complies with the working regulations (EN 280, ANSI, CSA, AS….).
