Hyundai's 9-Series Reach Truck launched at CeMAT 2015

Hyundai Forklifts Australia this week unveiled the new 9-Series range of Hyundai reach trucks at CeMAT Australia 2015 - currently underway at Sydney’s Olympic Park precinct.

Taking forklift design to a whole new level, Hyundai's 1.4 to 2.5 tonne capacity 9-Series reach trucks feature a striking curved exterior with two-tone graphic model identifier and coordinated two-tone coloured overhead guard and upper frame. An optimised lift cylinder provides the operator with wider visibility and a strong overhead guard that meets ISO 6055 and ANSI regulations protects the operator during hazardous work.

Notwithstanding its slick aesthetics, operationally, this new series of reach trucks stand-out for several clever yet simple design components. An added middle step provides a more ‘natural’ step height and easy access to the machine, whilst its hinged rotating hood means it’s quick and easy to carry out and complete regular maintenance checks.   A convenient, ergonomically designed fingertip lever hub enhances operator control and new joystick option provides smooth manoeuvrability reducing operator fatigue by cutting down repetitive strain.

The BRJ-9’s 3.5 inch LCD display has outstanding full colour visibility and includes an easy to use 12-button key pad arrangement. It displays operation error, system fault, battery level, hour meter plus a range of other functions enabling the operator to maintain optimum operating conditions.

Also available on all four BRJ-9 models is the optional rear view camera and advanced LCD colour monitor (with its 3.5 inch graphic smart display) which allows the operator to easily and efficiently control the machine. The monitor provides information about speed and accelerator level, steer angle and travel direction, battery discharge indicator, hour meter and working mode. The optional load indicator displays the load weight and height of the forks and the operator can select various performance modes to meet all working conditions.

This reach-truck's compact design and minimum turning radius ensures it suitability for narrow aisle operation that guarantees maximum space utilisation whilst its versatile multi-roller reach assembly provides for a smooth, controlled and safe load-handling system with extended reach.

The machine’s anti roll-back system offers protection against the machine rolling back on a ramp that in combination with exceptional ramp start capabilities and an efficient 7.5kW drive motor the BRJ-9 is safe, powerful and reliable. The latest large-capacity, state-of-the-art hydraulic system reacts quickly during operation and the low noise control valve increases both efficiency and durability.
