IHIMER SPA: SaMoTer 2017

Last month of November, because of a press release we sent to all our Partners, you had probably already learned that the Japanese multinational KATO WORKS Co., Ltd. - hereinafter referred KATO - and the Japanese conglomerate IHI Corporation Ltd. - hereinafter referred IHI - had signed an agreement for the transfer of 100% shares of IHI Construction Machinery Ltd. (hereinafter referred IK) from IHI to KATO.

From the first January 2017 the IK Company, which controls 51% of IHIMER S.p.A. based in Italy in San Gimignano (49% continues to be held by IMER GROUP S.p.A.), had already changed its name to KATO HEAVY INDUSTRIES CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY CO., LTD. (more briefly called KATO HICOM).

This letter is to inform you that, because an extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting of IHIMER S.p.A. will take place on February 17, 2017, also the undersigned Company will change its name to KATO IMER S.p.A. This while maintaining unchanged the address of the registered office, fiscal code and VAT number. For administrative and tax purposes this change will take effect from 1st March, 2017.

The new corporate logo, that we are listing below, will be made official at the SAMOTER trade fair that will be held in Verona (Italy) from 22nd to 25th February, 2017.
